Power meter Installation at Head Office , A.P.I Machinery (PVT) Ltd to monitor quality of power and main parameters to support their decision making. This was done as a prior project before the Installation of power meters at factory premises.
2013 - Dec
Power meter Installation at Samson Rubber Industries (PVT ) Ltd Kadawatha to monitor power quality parameters such as kwh usage with detailed reports. Remote monitoring was vital due to distance between plants and ease of monitoring.
2014 - Jan
Nurse call acknowledgement system design / Installation at Chunnakam Cancer Hospital Jaffna. The management team suggested the system to critical wards.The Proposed PLC system exceeded the proposed budget for the system. Therefore microcontroller based automated system was designed and installed at the units satisfying the budget.
2014 - March
Master clock installation project at Chunnakam power plant ( C.E.B ) Jaffna. The employees of the company had no proper time display at plant locations and ordinary clock system indicated time variations from time to time. Therefore it was recommended to to install GPS signal based clock system.
2014 - May
VSD ( Variable speed drive Altivar 312 ) was installed at singer furniture manufacturing plant by replacing the ( DOL ) starter to limit the starting current of the motor to reduce the maximum demand charge of the monthly electricity bill.
2014 - July
Power meter Installation at Hilton Hotel , Colombo. The remote monitoring function was not available prior to the installation. Therefore Head of the Engineering recommended to install remote monitoring system at company premises.
2014 - Sep
Humidity level monitor and control system was newly installed at Global park Tobacco warehouse , Ja-Ela due to a malfunction of existing system. Replacement was carried out by technical team and system improved the accuracy of the monitoring parameters.
2015 - Feb / March
Solenoid Valve control system design in cement filling plant at Singhe Cement Factory.
The circuit operation is based on two separate time delays. Each time delay can be varied manually in a given range. RC delay concept is used with dual retriggerable monostable IC. These two time delays are distributed through CMOS swith IC's in combination with a divide by 10 counter chip. The ten outputs are interfaced with 10 TRIAC's which control valve operation at 230V A/C. The control circuit was designed to operate at 5V regulated power supply. The control and power circuits shares common GND.

This is a learning tool for Ordinary level students and Advanced level students to simulate / design combinational and sequential logic circuits related to science and technological subjects. The Demo board consists of 8 logic gates and JK flipflops and T flipflops. It has been designed with de - bounced switches for the operation of Clocked logic blocks.
