• Ensuring preventative maintenance by planning and budgeting, servicing filling injectors, grease, and oil machines, checking bolt torque setting and air leaks.
• Doing the die changes by changing and setting the machine to current standards, checking water system is operating correctly, and tool core vents are clean.
• Ensuring boiler and accumulator maintenance done on daily basis by testing water, adding necessary chemicals and regulatory requirements are met (surveys, servicing, no steam leaks).
• Agreeing budgets, timescales and specifications with clients and managers.
• Making sure compressor and dryer are serviced on time and their basic maintenance carried out by cleaning intake filters and topping up oil on time.
• Ensure the water recirculating system (cooling tower, vacuum pumps, water pumps water pit, drainage) is cleaned and operates correctly.
• Organizing spare parts, electrical checks, acid bath and cleaning the mould tools when required.
• Pre-foaming the required and right density material.
• Modifying and maintaining products and the processes that support them.
• Producing and implementing designs and test procedures.
• Ensure visitors and contractors adhere to company policies and issue permits when required.
• Ensuring workshop, workplace are tidy and organized in their intended places.
