Goal-oriented hard worker who prioritises relationships within a team, physical ability and doing the best job possible. Adaptable to different working conditions, obedient in following instructions but also capable of taking on responsibility to lead if required. Focuses on working smoothly and safely within a work environment and within a team.
I have played senior rugby for the past 10 years. I started playing senior rugby at the age of 16, I played 8 seasons for my hometown of Coromandel and am currently playing my second season for the Mercury Bay Premiers. Rugby allows me to keep physically fit and active, I get to work together in a team to reach common goals and a space where I have gained life long friends.

I grew up most of my life in Coromandel town. I have 5 siblings, 3 older and 2 younger. I have had my youngest brother living with me for the last 2 years, I was able to secure a job for him with my company to where he is now financially stable to live on his own and he has taken over tenancy of my house in Coromandel. Through most of my primary and secondary schooling I was raised under the care of my grandparents in Koputauaki Bay, where I learnt care and compassion for others. I met my wife Tyl'a 6 years ago and we were lucky enough to be married earlier this year on Valentines Day. Tyl'a also shares my passion for rugby as she runs all the social media for Mercury Bay. Tyl'a works for Te Korowai as a Paediatric Occuaptional Therapist and continues to support me in everything I do. I pride myself on being a hardworker, something my koro instilled in me before he passed. I don't shy away from physical work as I am used to doing heaving lifting and jobs with my hands on our homestead in Kope. I am used to long hours, early starts and long work weeks, while working at Patty Bull Ltd a usual work week for me would be around 52 hours and our starts would either be 4am or 5am. I am known to be cheeky and a bit of laugh, so love to be in a team that enjoys a laugh too.
