• Provide emergency medical care to members of the public following specified guidelines, under the mentorship of a qualified Paramedic.
• Adapt treatment plans quickly and effectively based on changing patient conditions and reactions.
• Complete detailed case cards and provide professional patient handovers to various medical professionals.
• Transfer patients safely and securely to medical facilities for continued care.
• Conduct equipment and vehicle checks to maintain continuous and safe operation.

• Received emergency and non-emergency calls for medical assistance.
• Followed triage protocols to appropriately assess patient condition over the phone, resulting in appropriate medical resource(s) being dispatched.
• Provide care, guidance and medical instruction to caller and/or patient whilst awaiting assistance.
• Liaise with other emergency support services including fire and police to ensure safety of ambulance staff on scene and appropriate agencies are present.
