Leading and coaching a team of junior police officers in front line policing skill's. Providing victims and members of the public with a first class policing experience. Command teams during critical firearms and serious incidents. Ensure officers case management is up to date and all victims are informed of case progression

• Leading a team of 8 officers dedicated to locating and arresting High Risk offenders. Researching and using local intelligence units, CHIS information and other investigative skills to locate offenders. Conduct ground GSMEAC briefings and formulate on ground risk assessments.
• Used critical thinking to break down problems, evaluate solutions and make decisions.
• Conduct hot debriefs and ensure all officers are aware of lessons learnt

Supervising and leading a team of 6 Detectives providing a first response to serious incidents. Including Homicides, Rape, Serious Assaults, Infant deaths, suicides and fatal road crashes. Ensuring scenes are frozen cordoned and contained. Locating witnesses and obtaining written statements. Identifying CCTV and other critical pieces of evidence. Ensuring victims of sexual assault are treated with dignity and empathy also ensuring forensic evidence is recovered.

• Oversaw criminal cases, coordinated investigations, and prepared evidence and investigators for court cases.

• Supervised team of officers on their first steps to becoming Detectives. Using enhanced investigation techniques, such as deploying surveillance units, covert CCTV installations, preparation of search warrants, production orders. Reviewing Telco data and interviewing suspects. Taking ownership of drugs operations and utilising partner teams.

• Leading and coaching a team of 15 Junior Police officers in the skills of front line policing. Delivering a first class policing experience to witnesses, victims and members of the public. Ensuring all cases are managed

• Detective position in Auckland, transferring through different units. Including general duties, investigating serious assaults, rapes, homicides and frauds. Secondment to the Child abuse Team, investigating incidents of serious child abuse both physical and sexual. Secondment to the Special Investigation unit. Working along side the security services both New Zealand and Australian. Working with the New Zealand Special forces on matters of national security, requiring Top Secret clearance

• Level 1 surveillance Operative working on the Welsh Extremist and Counter Terrorist Unit. Using surveillance equipment to record and monitor subjects suspected of terrorist activity. Conducting mobile and foot surveillance on targets of National Security. Top Secret vetting required to fulfill operational requirements.

• Started as a front line police officer dealing with all aspects of frontline policing, Attained Detective status working in Newport on incidents of serious crime. Including shooting incidents and high level drug related crime
• Responded to emergency calls to provide assistance to citizens in need.
• Monitored criminal activity in community to identify suspicious activity.
• Identified, pursued and arrested suspects and perpetrators of criminal acts.
