Currently in my second year of being a building apprentice and Have been Able to acquire a lot of personal tools and a van. Have a fairly wide range of experience and skills in different fields. Able to work well with a team or independently. Am patient with others and am always willing to take constructive criticism. Am always seeking out ways to improve myself personally and professionally.
Spent two years honing my repiling skills and learning more about the industry. In times of low work, I would do jobs around the bosses house with tasks such as, landscaping, building fences and building a carport.
Was a missionary in Perth, Australia for two years. I learnt a lot of skills and learn more about myself as a person. I was able to develop my public speaking abilities and improve confidence around others.
Worked at this job for a few months and was able to gain a lot of practice and learning on how to repile homes.
Did the same tasks as when I was previously here (2015 -2016).
I worked at a pick and pack factory, working a fast pace and nonstop job on the lines with the tasks of repacking products into their finished packaging.
Worked with a contractor on the island of Rarotonga. I was able to gain a lot of training in completing heavy tasks such as house moving, demolition, repiling, tree trimming, general building and carpentry, brick laying, plastering and concreting.
Worked at the bakery as a kitchen hand with tasks such as, washing dishes, prepping food, Rolling pastry and other bakery related chores.
I have had a brief battle with cancer from October 2023 in which I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in which the tumour was successfully removed and I spent 6 months recovering before I was back to work. I still suffer sometimes from stomach pains but I am more or less back to full function.
