Summary

Having had two pēpi of my own I appreciate having female professionals in health care. I believe that having shared the experience, being understood and the support shown form my midwife I would like more women to feel just as understood as I have done.

I want to assist women through their pregnancies, through to postpartum. I communicate well, am able to share information clearly while maintaining control and respect for others.

I expect midwifery to be challenging. Challenging situations fuel my curiosity. I also understand that providing medical care and emotional support to people is a sensitive and sometimes complicated job, but I have the patience to do it right. These are just some of the qualities that would make me a good midwife.
