  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure and enforced all forestry operations complied with regulatory requirements and safety standards. Managing environmental impacts and risk
• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor and lead staff and forestry contractors, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency and environmental stewardship
• Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of forestry resources, including workforce, equipment and materials to maintain operational efficiency
• Forest Management - Prepare and deliver afforestation and silviculture programs inclusive of generating comprehensive budgets, reporting

Harvest/Roading Operations Supervision:

• Lead and manage harvesting crews, ensuring they follow safety protocols and operate efficiently.
• Monitor log quality and ensure compliance with timber specifications.
• Implement environmental protection measures to minimize impacts on soil and water.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and permits.
• Road design using Road Eng software and implement field marking and site management for roading projects
• Implement and carry out ETS FMA for clients across the North Island
• Manage afforestation projects for production forestry
