Prior to Orangetheory, I had success as a multi-club manager for Snap New Zealand for several years, as well as becoming a Senior Analyst for Verusco Technologies providing in-depth statistical analysis to contracted organisations, including SANZAR and NRL.   • Execute strategic and seasonal marketing campaigns to enhance growth and ROI to capitalise on market trends
  • Oversee and support studio managers and sales team members to drive growth & revenue. Identified sales execution gaps by analysing sales funnel data and followed up with localised sales training, resulting in improved conversion rates from 47% to 71%
  • Maximised studio performance by introducing localised KPI dashboards with actionable insights and solutions to drive sales, retention, membership trends, and revenue. Business Acumen

Within my role as National Sales and Marketing Manager, I have worked closely with the Global Executive Team while reporting directly to the Area Developer, who is the Owner and CEO. I partner cross-functionally with departments including Finance and Fitness, while leading all Sales, Marketing, and Operational strategies of the business, consulting directly with the Area Developer. 

Driving major aspects within the National market from sales, operations, financial management, product delivery, new studio development, and pre-sales has allowed me to develop key areas: 

  • Large team leadership and fostering high performance culture: leading five direct reports and 40+ staff has enabled me to learn effectively about managing different personalities and learning styles. Encouraging team performance and utilising individual strengths to enhance customer experience and produce positive effects on brand growth, revenue and operational KPI targets across a multiple of pillars, while allowing individual personal development to foster an engaging culture.
  • Strategic thinking, planning, and execution to scale business: working closely with the Global Leadership groups, I have been able to support and identify growth opportunities within the region. I have streamlined operational best practices while still executing decisive and deliberate local data-driven insights to improve efficiencies and drive increased commercial presence to upscale business performance.
  • Sound data analysis with valuable insights to drive improvements: I use sales data to identify business opportunities. Multiple platforms to drive differing facets of the business operations. I use BI tools such as DOMO, OT Dash, and various CRMs such as GymLeads and OrangeBook to seek and recommend both retention and growth strategies.
  • Planning and execution to grow business at scale: experience in successfully scaling small to high-volume facilities. I’ve supported consistent growth through member acquisition and retention while collaborating with key marketing agencies to identify further lead acquisition opportunities while upskilling and training staff on sales to enhance funnel conversions and execution. Resulting in higher conversion rates and positive ROI on marketing campaigns to grow the business.
  • Multi-site management and ownership of P&L to drive commercial outcomes: Facilitating multi-site performance by consolidating expenses where relevant, while learning upon differing customer experience and satisfaction to drive continued progression of revenue to maximise profit margins.
