I am enquiring about the position for technical sales position for Perth. I am currently covering the Western Bay of plenty area for SMC covering various applications from the Timber industry, Processing, Manufacturing and Robotics. I had been involved in the compressed air industry for 12 years before employment with SMC, from Service Technician to Service Manager and in technical generating sales. This has involved the sale of various branded compressors and pneumatic component's ranging from 5kw to 30kw oil free compressors, refrigerant dryers, cylinders, valves, and actuators. I have gained a broad knowledge of understanding customer requirements, for example the demand of air required for the client’s plant and providing the information to support the choice of compressor best suited. Having great satisfaction in knowing that the customer has obtained the best outcome and enabling the customer to save money on power and service costs. I have knowledge of ordering and obtaining parts for customer requirements and ensuring the technicians have the correct materials to ensure that they are productive in their duties. Broad knowledge in quoting projects and servicing and have processed this out to final invoice. Gained knowledge over the past 12 years in selling SMC products, this has enabled me to achieve and beat the targets set within a competitive market. I had recently achieved personal satisfaction persuading Exxon Mobil fuel terminals to replace a competitors long standing relationship supply of valves to SMC equivalent. This was not only achieved by SMC pricing but the availability and communication from the SMC network.

My interpersonal skills and an engaging manner allow me to quickly establish open lines of communication with clients. Strong management relationships complement my technical skills. My resourcefulness in handling all aspects of my job from technical and physical challenging tasks to client rapport and workload planning.
