Hello my name is Matt, I am a 29 year old Kiwi Male that made the move over to Perth with my family in 2018 and achieved my High Risk LF Forklift license(equivalent to NZ counter balance and HR Forklift license), White Card(equivalent to Site safe) and Working in Confined spaces thus far all valid and up to date. I have gained experience as a a Forklift operator and was being trained for a 2iC role before I was forced to move home and resign..

I also have experience as a Trades assistant, Construction Labourer, Concreting labourer, Steel and Wire fixing labourer and Concreting labourer.

Because my mother was unwell and I was having to fly back and forth from Perth to Auckland I had to resign from my most recent full time job at Specialised Pipe and Fittings Australia in July 2024. I have been working casual and temp jobs which I haven't felt necessary to include in my resume because I wasn't there for long. I have since moved back to Auckland, New

Zealand in October 2024 to be closer to my mum who is in good health, now and my family. I know that I can bring my high work ethic, great communication skills, positive and

humourful personality to any work environment whether it be working as a team or taking the initiative and putting my head down to get a job done individually. Straight out of high school I enrolled into Unitec to finish my NCEA levels 1 and 2 under the Foundations of Studies course stated in the ‘Education’ chapter of my resume.

My goal after completing the foundations of studies course was to then begin my Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology!

My passion and interest for the field of counselling and psychology came from wanting to better help and understand my mother with her mental illness.
