Matthew Turner

Hatton, South Derbyshire

Summary

I come from a family of retired farmers in South Derbyshire, I grew up around sheep up until I was 12. After finishing school I went to Burton and South Derbyshire college and studied mechanical engineering this being on lathes and milling machines and other engineering machinery, I was here until Covid, after finishing college i then helped with maintaining the farm land at home and helping out where possible. It was at this stage the passion began to flour. I then went on to Reaseheath college to study a level 3 diploma in Agriculture. I'm a young hardworking lad with a passion for anything agricultural whether its animals or machinery. I can work alone or be a resourceful team player with proactive and critical-thinking approach to completing farm and tractor work. Identifies ways to improve or speed up regular farm processes. Quick learner with relative knowledge on upkeep of machinery. I am always keen to learn more.
