Malo e lelei!
I have shown to be a committed employee as demonstrated through my employment as a support worker, freezing works and my commitment throughout my Electrical Certificate studies who always strives to operate at the best of my ability.
My best quality is, I can work well within a team, fast-paced, demanding environment and can also deploy the common sense required to work in isolated situations.
I am motivated/punctual, and I’m always open to potential learning and training opportunities whenever they may arise.
In recent years, I've realized the importance of returning to tertiary level study to fulfil my potential and aspirations of becoming a qualified Electrician. My initial step towards this, is that I have attained my Level 3 Pre-Trade Electrical Certificate.
I thoroughly enjoyed my learning journey and would embrace the opportunity to learn more and develop the necessary skills to take myself forward in my education and passion for electrical engineering.
Throughout this year I have been privileged to work alongside some lecturers and tutors as part of unpaid work experience.
With the work experience, I have gained the confidence to build my skills as an electrical trainee. I was also lucky enough to visit Manapouri Hydro station which I found very impressive with all the engineering aspects that took place. I have also visited the wind farms which I found extremely interesting.
My hobbies are playing the drums, Power lifting in the gym and just being outdoors which help me to relax. I also enjoy going out to support the local rugby teams when I get the chance.
