I have been working for Pelco since November 2025 as a Marine Engineering Assistant.

Pelco is a commercial fishing business with a purse seine fleet.

I have:

• Carried out small fabrication jobs in the workshop.
• Assisted with general repairs and maintenance on the fishing vessels.
• Completed maintenance and repairs in the engine rooms of the boats.
• Adhered to all health and safety protocols and policies both in the factory and onsite at the Port of Tauranga.
• I have passed all police vetting and drug testing requirements as per company employee policy.

• Prepared surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming for optimal paint adhesion.
• Applied various painting techniques using brushes, rollers, and sprayers for even finishes.
• Maintained tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites.
• Maintained a clean work environment at all times while working onsite.
