Maxine Pepuere Brown Junior

Kia Ora my name is Maxine Brown. I am expressing my interest in applying for post graduate certificate in health science in child health. The particular paper i am applying for is HEAL824/SN01 as i reside in Northland. I am looking at expanding my knowledge and am ready to start my PG qualifications journey.

After completing my nursing degree I spent my post graduate year working on the Paediatric ward at Whangarei Hospital, here I learnt lots of new assessment skills and how to manage a fast paced environment. Following this employment i then worked at Bay of Islands rural Hospital in Kawakawa for a few years, This vital experience added Hospital based and acute emergency care knowledge to my skill set which i thoroughly enjoyed.

For the past four years to current i work as the Mid North Paediatric Outreach Nurse for the Northland region, I am able to incorporate all the experiences and skills i have gained throughout my nursing degree over the years into my daily practice.
