Summary

An enthusiastic and passionate teacher with experience in leadership, assessment, and curriculum development. I believe strong leadership supports the growth of teachers and in turn, improves outcomes for learners. Effective leadership fosters equitable outcomes for learners through collaboration and the minimising of variables between classrooms. Knowing the people within a team ensures effective collaboration, teamwork, and working to meet shared goals. It is through relationships and professional trust that change and professional growth are best achieved. My strengths in curriculum content and assessment analysis provide me with skills to support a team with the implementation of the new New Zealand Curriculum. My classroom experience focuses on establishing programs, relationships, and physical spaces that reflect the diverse needs of students and celebrate their learning.
