  • 2017, Winning this highly regarded award again in 2017 was in recognition of commitment, excellence and outstanding performance.
  • 2017, Pharma Contract: Intrinsic role in securing placement on the National PHARMAC schedule for the supply of Radiology products.
  • 2017, Finalist: MTANZ Innovation Award: Following the securement of the agency for SecurAcath I then went onto build a convincing application which resulted in Obex becoming a finalist in the New Zealand Medical Technologies Innovation Award. SecurAcath has now become a national phenomenon in the securement of catheters.
  • 2016, Emerging Technology: Securing a partnership to see the launch of a new platform in Ablation Systems in New Zealand. Within only two years we became the market leader over the long-term dominant player in our market space.
  • 2013, Business Unit/Sector Development: Development and establishment of an Otolaryngology business segment. This venture into ENT provided me with the autonomy to build relationships in a specialty where we hadn’t formerly had a presence. Launching new devices in this area while creating brand awareness and credibility for Obex was very rewarding.

Growth Mindset and Personal Development:

  • I belong to the "WiHT", Women in Health Technology. WiHT is a collaborative group representing the HealthTech sector in New Zealand, providing a foundation of networking and leadership.
  • Through WiHT I am on the "EmpowHer" mentee programme and have the privilege of 1:1 mentorship and leadership from the wider group.
  • Recently, I have attended regular“MA” Marketing Association New Zealand events which have been truly inspiring with valuable networking opportunities.
  • In August I will attend a short two-day course with the Business School of Auckland University on: " Finance for Non-Financial Managers."
  • Attending a half day seminar led by Sam Cawthorn of the Speakers Institute on "Mastering Communication for Influence"in May was both captivating and 100% motivational.
