Summary

Throughout my career, I have worked in a range of challenging and rewarding senior roles in both the public and private sectors. I am an effective communicator across all levels of an organisation, and I form trusted relationships quickly by being effective and efficient, and doing what I say I will do. As a leader, I set high expectations for my team, and I empower them to be their best. My style employs collaboration, partnership, and advocacy for my team and my customers. My creative strategic thinking and collaborative approach enable insight and pathways that result in practical solutions to challenging problems. I have a successful history of getting things done and gaining progress against the odds. My work with NZDF, HainesAttract, NZ Police, Ministry of Education, and DIA has seen me using strategic planning skills and working alongside senior leadership teams to improve their teams, structures, and culture. I understand the machinery of government and how to be flexible and pragmatic while complying with policy. I have a strong customer service ethic and believe that my role is always to help others and make their lives better.
