Melvin Puthenpurackel

A creative, energetic and co-operative team member that is goal driven and likes taking on new challenges. A multifaceted person that has learnt the values of teamwork, communication, and dedication through vast experiences. Have competed as a part of a team in various different sports and arts which has helped me to learn how to communicate effectively and complete tasks efficiently while working with other people. I am also currently studying at AUT doing a Bachelor of Commerce (Double Major: Marketing and Information Systems) which has given me a significant insight on how businesses operate and how to communicate with customers and fellow employees effectively and professionally.

Hip Hop World Champion 2019

Won the Hip Hop World Championships in 2019 as a part of Identity Dance Company where we flew to Arizona, USA to compete against other countries. Competing as a part of this competition helped me to gain a more goal driven personality who always wants to set standards high while gaining important life experience travelling overseas.

Football:

Currently play football for Papatoetoe United men's first team as I have been playing and competing majority of my life as its something I enjoy doing.

Hip Hop Teaching:

Occasionally teach dance classes according to contracts where I have to teach and effectively communicate instructions to a group of people
