I am a firm believer in working hard and doing what needs to be done for the betterment of our Māori and Pasifika people. I am confident to work alongside others to help implement and make changes where needed in order to support people to be proud of who they are and where they come from. I have a great love and understanding for Kaupapa Māori, Te Reo Māori and Tīkanga Māori. I am highly-motivated and have a desire to take on new challenges. I believe I have a strong work ethic, am adaptable and have great relationship-building qualities.

PB4L, PB4L Refresher - Professional Development for this was provided to encourage the success of PB4L, 2019.
Team Participation, ensuring the running of Te Puāwaitanga, our Māori unit, was doing well alongside the other kaiako in Te Puāwaitanga, 2018-present.

Acting team leader, head Kaiako for our Te Puāwaitanga Māori immersion unit while our head Kaiako was on maternity leave, attended senior leadership meetings, give constant reports on the running of Te Puāwaitanga, worked alongside tumuaki and tumuaki tuarua, implemented new programs for our tamariki for Tuhituhi, Kōrero, and Pāngarau, 2022.

Teamwork, working alongside a team of 7 kaiawhinā (8 total) on the floor.

Responsibilities, tamariki safety is paramount. Teaching Te Reo Māori and Tīkanga Māori. Communicating with parents. Tamariki profiles at the end of every term. Assessments at the end of every term. Constant communication with staff. Attend whānau hui once a month. Open discussions with whānau and staff to try to implement new ways of learning and new ways of developing for our tamariki.
Rōpu Tuakana, working with tamariki ages 3.5 to 5 with one other kaimahi (February - September).
Rōpu Teina, working with tamariki ages 2 to 3.5 with two other kaimahi (September - December)
Te Ara Tuarua, a one year course to develop and strengthen and better understand Te Kaupapa O Te Kōhanga Reo.
