Experienced Traffic Engineer with 5 years background in transportation industry. Throughout traffic engineer work in transportation industry I have developed a variety skill and good understanding of AutoCAD Road design, concept and scheme design, Crash reduction studies, good understanding of SIDRA intersection Modelling and TMP designs.
· Provide expertise on Traffic Management planning & requirements, best practice, risks and strategy.
· Assisting Traffic to lead to the implementation of transportation planning strategies to meet the project consent conditions and impose minimal impact on other road users, local interest groups and residents.
· Integrate traffic plans and desired outcomes with stakeholders and the design & construction teams.
· Assist the traffic lead with strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including NZTA, utility companies, local residents and Auckland Transport.
· Contributing to the Traffic Management KRAs & KPIs;

· Facilitate internal and external communications relating to traffic management issues for relevant Zone.
· Carry out site surveys, investigations, and feasibility studies.
· Undertake scheme designs projects whilst adhering to relevant technical guidance.
· Produce calculations, specifications, and drawings to ensure that technical designs provide appropriate solutions.
· Initiate, conduct, collate and analyse background studies that are needed to establish the factual and expected traffic patterns of client projects.
· Develop and maintain strong client relations through excellent project performance.
· Assist in the preparation of cost estimates for project design and construction.

Broad knowledge of engineering techniques with expertise in Autocad drawing and Geometric Design of Road Based on NZTA Specification design solutions and road maintenance
Good understanding of road pavement design and construction, road markings, temporary traffic management plan and procedure, road components, and identifying road defects and solutions
Good understanding and knowledge of NZ Road design standards and design guidelines (ATCOP, TDM, Austroads, and MOTSAM) and local authority code of practices
Familiar with CAS (Extracting collision diagram, English report, and Coded crash report)
Ability to perform a technical report
Demonstrable experience in using SCATS data to estimate traffic delays and queues
Good understanding of wastewater and stormwater management
