- I had resposibilty of 4 apprentices and 2 qualified builders who worked under myself.
- I learnt alot working closely with project managers on this job, from dealing with a large range of subcontactors to getting the best out of your employers while on very tight timelines.

- Had 2 years of working on renovations, mainly on old villas, all finished to a high level.
- I learnt a lot on these renovations, from laying concrete slabs, to installing insulation and GIB board. The benefit being you learn all the trades that are now mainly subcontracted out.

- Did my building apprenticeship under Bonham Builders, a very well known and highly regarded builder in the Auckland area. with multiple NZ builders awards, winning house of the year twice. They were a great company to do my apprenticeship under.
- All the jobs were high end new builds, with lots of insitu concrete and large steel portals, giving it a semi commercial feel. The cladding was almost always Cedar and interiors Plywood and solid plaster.
