  • My daily duties involve opening and closing the store including cash handling, interacting with customers and finding the perfect solution for their individual situations.
  • I have enjoyed this role as each day brings new challenges, a strong team environment and a good working relationship with clients.
  • I enjoy working closely with the public and like the challenge of finalizing a sale.
  • I left this role because I became pregnant with my second child . I’m wanting to get back into the workforce.

  • While working as store manager at Sunglass Style in Dressmart in Christchurch, I looked after five other members of staff.
  • This included their training, weekly rosters, KPI's, payroll and banking duties.
  • There was also an element of visual merchandising within this role that was always welcomed as it inspired creativity and innovation with each challenge presented.
  • I greatly enjoyed my time working and training such a diverse team and welcomed the daily challenges that come with managing a store.
  • I left this role as it became too difficult for me to always be on call and raise my then young son.

  • My time at Postie Plus was spent training and managing a large number of staff alongside the On-Duty manager.
  • There was a focus on KPI's and reaching store targets as well as motivating staff to collectively reach their personal targets.
  • I enjoyed the wonderful team, the ongoing training and the fantastic company ethos.
  • I was sad to have this role end due to redundancies as the company shut many of its stores towards the end of 2014.
