Assisting Grasses Leader in the Breeding of forage grasses, including all tasks required to bring a candidate commercial. This included maintaining commercial cultivars, endophyte testing working in a Lab. From start to finish, sowing the seed to harvesting the seed, to testing it. Also managed casual staff, university students on holiday over summer. Purchasing requirements, approving invoices, maintaining excel spreadsheets, attending conferences, planning meeting. Health & safety was very high on my agenda, as working on a Research farm has its hazards. Also Growsafe approved, fire extinisher approved and was a first aider.

- calling customers to see if they require anything and introducing them to new products.

- picking stock orders (when required).

- Label design.

- cleaning and supreme coffee maker.

- Import and Export Entries.

- Adminstration, invoicing, approving accounts etc.

- Company Signatory.

- Customer Service at an extremely high level.

- Data entry.

- Assisting sales with leads, quotes and any relevent information.

- Liasing with numerous Government Departments, ie Customs, Min of Primary Industries, Min of Health, NZ Police, Land Transport, Min of Economic Development.

- Consultancy, ie advising clients of import and export restrictions and requirments, applying for opinons from NZ Customs etc.

- Appeals for clients with Customs Dept, involved at times dealing with QC, Barristers, Professors and Professionals in different fields.

- Quoting local and overseas clients.

- Arranging cartage and any special handling requirements.

- Insuring of freight, lodging and following up claims.

- Costings.
