Function as a security officer in night clubs and pubs in Brisbane that required enforcing liquor licensing rules of Queensland. Monitoring patrons who show signs of being unduly intoxicated on a licensed premise, then escorting said patron off site using open hand gestures and only resorting to physical removal if it became absolutely necessary.

• Crowd control in busy venues.
• Informing managers and other bar staff of patrons who are being monitored.
• Advising site manager of duties and patrols to keep informed of the nightly duties.
• Making sure all security officers are conducting the duties given in a professional level.

Aiding customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Training new officers, providing on the job training, mentoring new officers and equipping them with skills to be effective officers. Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents and suspicious activities.

• Successfully trained 30 officers over a two year period and achieved 80% retention.
• Providing on the job training.
• Fire panel response, finding which zones have been set off, finding smoke alarms that have been set off and inspecting the area to make sure there is no obvious smoke or fire damage. If needed, fight fire within my own skill and training that was provided.
