With a proven track record of enhancing property aesthetics and functionality at Saint Peters College, I bring a unique blend of hands-on expertise and interpersonal skills. Renowned for my reliability and hardworking nature, I excel in grounds maintenance and building management, ensuring environments are safe and welcoming. My open and honest communication has facilitated effective team and client relations, making me an ideal candidate for roles requiring both technical and soft skills.
Ensured that the School buildings were fit for purpose and complied with all Local Body and Governmental Regulations.
Carried out regular inspections of emergency exits to ensure that all points of egress were clear and that doors were functioning correctly. Where possible, I was responsible for repairs to damage and or wear and tear to the buildings and if necessary arrange for a tradie to carry out the works.
Unfortunately the wanton damage at that school was something I had never experienced before.
I took the difficult decision to resign and take up a position at Saint Peters College. I was taking quite a large pay cut in doing so.
Primarily my duty at the school was to maintain the magnificent grounds and be there to assist the Property Manager. In a school that size there will always be times when I would be liaising with various Trades people, requesting quotes for future works or maybe some traffic management.
I only left Epsom Girls after being the position of
Property Manager at Rutherford College.
On paper and in the pay check it was a promotion but in reality if I knew then what I know now, I would not have left Epsom.
And now I am looking at a new direction.
Part time work, a better work life balance.
I have a broad range of work and life skills that I believe would make me an asset in a Holiday park environment
I am open
I am honest
I am friendly
I am hard working
I am reliable
