I'm an 21 year old, NMIT graduate, studied for a Bachelors in Arts and Media. I'm looking for a Part-Time job to compliment my study days. I have had team working experience within courses at NMIT and am keen to further my skills with an employed position.

For example, creating an artistic poster for the Nelson's Art Festival in a group of five including myself, which was an amazing experience to be a part of as it enabled me to learn how to follow a client's directive / wants and needs, in producing a creative and informative poster that was displayed in a prominent position in Nelson.

I also helped to produce a brand with a other art students. Together, we produced the product, logo, flyers and packaging. The experience taught me how to work in a group setting where teamwork and planning is absolutely essential.

I was even able to curate an art exhibition at NMIT with a local artist and helped her create her dream exhibition by putting her needs and ideas first.

I'm a good listener and learn as I go, often writing down notes to ensure that the work is up to the customer's standards. I also work well independently and am very self-motivated to finish all roles and assignments to a high standard.

I've learnt to work with various different personalities and different people's work ethics. I believe that continuing to study at NMIT will help me gain more skills, aiding more experiences for working as I have further opportunities, teachings and projects. Meaning I'm able to work with a broader range of people and ensuring their needs as a first priority.
