I would like the opportunity to be considered for a position as an Animal welfare kennel officer. I am a hard worker who is looking for a new opportunity to expand my knowledge and passion for Animal welfare as well as the way we help keep animal welfare at a high standard. EVERSLEY, OCEANIA HASTINGS, JULY 2019 – DECEMBER 2021 I worked part time in this position for 3 years mainly serving food and washing dishes. I gained a lot of experience in preparing and cooking food in an area with high hygiene standards as well as interacting with people. I gained employment at Eversley after volunteering for the Duke of Edinburgh Hillary award.
Mitre 10 Mega Hastings March 2022-2023, during the time I worked at Mitre 10 I worked as a checkout operator, on the customer service desk, Trade desk as well as doing infill. I Was also studying my level 4 certificate in animal m management during this time. Part of my job at Mitre 10 was ensuring customers were well looked after from helping them find the product they needed, to ensuring their checkout experience was fast, friendly and an experience to remember.
Pet stock, Hastings March 2023- September 2023, During my time at pet stock I was a customer service representative, some of my day to day tasks included but weren't limited to Animal husbandry, ensuring we were withholding a high level of cleanliness to ensure our animal welfare standards were the best they could be. I also did ship from store and have a vast knowledge of the products we were selling and the best fit for each animal a customer needed food for.
Totara health September 2023- April 2024, During my time at totara health I have had a very customer forward role working on the reception desk. My day to day tasks include answering phones and talking to customers face to face as well as booking appointments for them. During this time I have gained a lot more experience working with people from different walks of life and learning how to cater for their different needs. During this time I was also studying my Level 5 certificate in animal Technology.
Traffic safe NZ August 2024- Present day, For my job at traffic safe nz I am a Traffic controller, my day to day roll includes setting up and packing down our work sites, piloting traffic through the sites at safe speeds as well as operating traffic lights and being on stop go paddles. My work day ranges from 8 to 14 hours a day. I enjoy helping people understand what is happening on the roads and directing them to their destinations if they get lost. I have been on some well known state highway rebuilds such as State highway 1 outside Tokoroa where I was a pilot vehicle.
2022 Gained my level 4 certificate in animal management at EIT as well as my pet first aid certificate.
2022 Gained my Marine Mammal medic certificate.
2023 Gained my Level 5 Certificate in Animal technology.
