My name is Mohaka Hooper, I am 25 years old and I reside in Waiohiki, Hawke's Bay. I am a full-time Mother, a full-time student at the Eastern Institute of Technology, and I also work part-time. In 2025, I completed a Level 3 Employment Pathways programme, and I am now pursuing Level 4 in Hauora. I have held significant roles, including serving as a youth representative for my community on the Wairoa District Council and working as a Whānau Ora Navigator, supporting families and individuals achieve their long and short-term aspirations and goals. These experiences have taught me the importance of upholding strong values and strengths in my roles. I consider myself reliable, a high achiever, dedicated, hardworking, and punctual. My greatest motivation comes from my two sons, as I strive to be a positive role model for them both. My career goal is to become a registered nurse so that I can work in the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU), providing support and empathy to babies and their families during challenging times.
