NZ Auckland - One NZ (formerly Vodafone NZ) Surepay Transformation Program

  • I led the transformation to a cloud-based architecture and the modernization of the voucher management solution and driving business transition towards on-demand online voucher ordering process. This initiative resulted in a 12% increase in productivity and significantly enhanced revenue reporting and cash-flow reconciliation, optimizing overall financial performance and operational efficiency.

NZ Auckland - One NZ (formerly Vodafone NZ) Toll-free Solution Replacement

  • With no single service interruption, managed the migration of the Enterprise customers while moving to the online toll-free solution.

NZ Hamilton - Waikato DHB CITRIX Cloud

  • Transitioned the on-premises Citrix environment to a robust Citrix Cloud solution, resulting in significant enhancements in operational efficiency and performance metrics. This strategic upgrade led to a 30% increase in system availability, a 25% reduction in maintenance costs, and a 20% improvement in user productivity

Qatar Doha - Gulf Business Machines (GBM) QNB Transformation Projects

  • Successfully executed the transformation project for Qatar National Bank's front-end banking system, transitioning to a sophisticated web-based solution developed by UNiQUARE, an Austrian vendor. This enabled the private banking team to access customer profiles in real-time via mobile devices. I successfully generated ~US$6M worth of sales and ~US$9M worth of revenue for the company during my time. Simultaneously led and successfully delivered to Qatar National Bank the IBM Db2 Warehouse solution, integrating with all their systems to source and transform their data into one single repository, from which the client can generate critical reports, statistics, and dashboards.

Egypt Cairo - International Turnkey Solution (ITS) PHONIX Core Solution - Lebanon Projects

  • As the core banking SME, I led the transformation Banquet de Liban in Lebanon, to implement PHOENIX core banking systems and front-end systems. this included merging and migrating data of 4 different banks under the umbrella of Banquet de Liban. Concurrently, I led the establishment of Arab Finance House bank systems in Lebanon, this includes engaging with the bank business teams and management to set the operations processes across all the departments. Also, as a SME, I led the training of the end users on the new systems before the launch and supported them post going live as well.

  • Led the implementation of IBM Integration Service Bus (ISB) solution to enabling the integration between Temenos core banking system (T24) and Qatar Islamic Bank's (QIB) channels as part of the core banking transformation program. This allowed the bank to avoid replacing all their channels and an additional CAPEX bill of US$9M.
  • Closed the deal, then delivered the 1st AWS cloud implementation of the company and the development bank of the State of Qatar (QDB). The project enabled the bank to manage and maintain all their business properties, which increased their time-to-market and reduced operational overhead significantly.
