Momo Ando

I am currently a year 13 student at Green Bay High School. I am an international student from Japan and I came to NewZealand in 2023 when I was in year 11. I achieved an overall IELTS score of 6.5 overall in January 2025. I am a native Japanese speaker. I have developed strong skills to contribute to creating welcoming atmosphere and to work efficiently in order to work from the experiences of working at a hotel for four months in total. I adapted successfully to a different environment during my study abroad here, also developing a strong cross-cultural communication and problem-solving skills. I built my awareness and respect towards diversity especially within multicultural communities.
