Morgan Alley

I am commencing study at Auckland University in 2026 and will be living in halls, so I'm looking for part time work in the city that I can fit in with my course schedule. I have always been enthusiastic about furthering my culinary knowledge and capabilities, and have extensive experience through food bank service initiatives, food hygiene courses and cooking dinner for my family every night for several years. At my school I have been involved in the advanced culinary academy, which prepares large batches of home cooked meals weekly for disadvantaged families in the community. Additionally, I was selected as a Maitre'd at my student led cafe, which conformed to Auckland Council food safety regulations and was open to the public for paid dining. I have previous work experience as a Children’s Party Entertainer with the company An Enchanted Party which has allowed me to effectively manage customers and strengthen my interpersonal communication skills. I also have extensive front of house experience volunteering as a vendor at school productions which means I can manage eftpos machines, handle cash, and accommodate customer needs.
