  • In this role my main responsibility is to uphold the dignity of our residents and assist with all areas of their daily living
  • However, this role also has many other responsibilities including training new staff, working in a team to achieve the best outcome for our residents, completing all daily documentation and achieving monthly trainings promptly and with 100% accuracy
  • During my time at Summerset, I also stepped up as the health and safety lead caregiver identifying hazards myself and discussing hazards within my team, forging ideas to eliminate the hazard and bringing these to management at monthly meetings
  • I was also a finalist twice for Caregiver of the Year throughout Summerset New Zealand which reflects my excellent work ethic and high level of care and professionalism within my working environment, including within a team.
