- I was employed as a machinist but ended up working on site out at Mckee oil production station as a pipe fitter fitting up pipe sizes from 50mm to 250mm diameter for the welders. To complete some of this work i had to draw isometric drawings of the pipe spools so the workshop could fabricate with a high degree of sizes etc so the spool would fit on site.
- Because i was a machinist i also draw mechanical parts that needed manufacturing in the workshop.
- Read and interpreted specifications, diagrams and blueprints for job.
- Threaded and installed pipe using pipe wrench and dies.
- Threaded pipes using specified machinery.
