While working at Woolworths Pukekohe South, I learnt many different skills by working in a real work environment. This was only work experience for one month, I did this through the (SEEDS PROGRAM) I completed. I was shown how to do jobs in different departments, throughout the store, I did work in, online shopping department, customer service/checkouts, stocking the shelves and doing face up. I showed up to work on time, made sure my uniform was tidy and respectable. I showed perseverance and integrity while my time working there.
I have been close with Stacey for many years as over the time she has need someone to be their and watch her son for the times she couldn't, I was available to go and help her watch her son for a coupled of hours. Stacey had relied and trusted me to look after and watch her son. I made sure he was feed, entertained and okay. Stacey son had Down syndrome, it didn't make things much harder all that was extra was I made sure, I felt comfortable watching him, which I was. I just had to watch him a bit more closely.
At this job, I picked up skills fast and was shown how to send card templates to the printer to print the cards out. I was showed how to cook paper sheets to plastic cards, and was also involved in packing customers orders into courier bags.
