• Maintenance of the NZLAV in both a workshop and field environment.
• Experience maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems within the NZLAV, this also involved trouble shooting, fault finding and repair.

Key Assignments

I have completed and passed a 4-week trade assessment for the role of Heavy Diesel Technician within the Defence Force. This involved the complete disassembly and reassembly of a diesel engine as well as other parts replacement jobs. I was also tested on basic mechanical systems such as brakes and electrical components of a vehicle.

I was involved in the Army's Covid-19 response working as part of a security team at a Managed Isolation Quarantine Facility.

I was also selected to be part of a team sent to Australia to be part of exercise Talisman Sabre a multi-national combat exercise designed to test both individual ability and teamwork in a large scale warlike environment.

Being a part of the Defence Force requires I am always on time, presentable and that I work to the best of my abilities at all times.
