I am a dedicated volunteer of Big Brother Big Sister which is a mentoring program at Golden Bay High School and mentoring a year 9 extension math class by myself this year. supervised Nathanael during his time working on our building sites from.
Nathanael was an outstanding young team member very reliable. He consistently
demonstrated an excellent work ethic, arriving on site punctually and ready to start work
immediately. He took great pride in his tasks and maintained a high standard of effort
throughout.
Safety was clearly a priority for Nathanael. He always ensured he had the correct
personal protective equipment (PPE) — including hard hat, high-visibility vest, steel-
capped boots, gloves, eye and ear protection as required — and he wore it properly at
all times without needing reminders. He showed a genuine respect for site safety
protocols and contributed to maintaining a safe working environment for the whole crew.
Nathanael followed instructions and directions very well, paying close attention to detail
when carrying out tasks. When he encountered any uncertainty about a task or
measurement, he proactively asked questions rather than guessing, which helped
prevent mistakes and kept the project moving smoothly. His willingness to learn and
seek clarification was very much appreciated by both myself and the site team.
In summary, Nathanael is a hardworking, dependable, safety-conscious and coachable
