Nicholas McAdam

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics Engineering at Waikato University. At the end of 2021 I completed a Bachelor of Computer Science. After leaving University I realised that I wanted work with more of a hands on focus and so returned to university to study Mechatronics. I have two years left in my degree and would like to pursue a career in robotics.

In my spare time I like to work on my car and motorbike with my dad as we have a passion for cars and bikes alike. I like to be hands on when working on them as I find it very satisfying and fun to fix problems when they arise. As my father is a full time mechanic, it also gives us quality time together which is bonus. I also go to the gym regularly and regularly go on runs to keep my fitness level up and have previously completed events like the Round the Bridges in under an hour. Having grown up watching and playing football alongside my brothers, I have always been fit and running allows me to keep up my fitness around my studies.
