Throughout High-school i had always had a busy schedule and had to learn how to manage my work & time effectively due to taking up 3+ sports throughout each year whilst maintaining a good study level and achieving the grades i desired.

These skills i had learnt have carried over to my university lifestyle due to working a part time job whilst i study. these skills have helped me achieve a balance social life, academic life & work life.

Throughout my work at McDonald's Frankton it has taught me how to work synergistically in a group setting with those from different demographic segments, ranging from ages 15-50+, multiple different ethnicities, different socio economic statuses, etc. Having this experience for 2+ years it has become a constant in my lifestyle and has made my university life easier. it has given me the ability to effectively collaborate with new people in a group setting, resolve conflict, and foster a sense of inclusivity for all members of the group.

I am currently in my third and final year of studying towards a Bachelor of Business at the University of Waikato with a Major In accounting. my current goals are to achieve employment at an accounting firm to complete my internship, and to begin study towards chartered accountancy by next year, whilst having a secure job in the accounting field. 

Over the years i have achieved the ability to work effectively in a group through being heavily involved in sports teams, a heavy focus on my work life & dedication to succeeding in group projects at university. 

Having managed the ability to maintain a healthy balance between academics, sporting, social life and part time work has taught me how to manage my time effectively, dedicate myself to certain aspects of my life when required & complete tasks in a routine manner.
