Accomplishments

I enjoy learning and have recently completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Education where I studied papers in Mental Health Education in Schools, Mentoring and Inclusiveness in Education. I am extremely interested in continuing my studies in the near future.

Netball is a big part of my life and have always involved myself in co-curricular activities as this is an important part of the teaching role. Outside of work I recently managed Tamaki Makaurau mixed Netball team and potentially have the opportunity to manage the men's team. I am currently managing Auckland Netball Representative U16-2 Team.

Professional Development is very important to me and I am always enrolling in courses during my spare time. I currently am learning about FASD and Prader Willi Syndrome so I can fully support the students I work with.

I am very creative

I engage in creative activities in my spare time to help me relax.

Within my professional career, I am an out the box thinker which assists me in creating interesting and engaging resources that equips me with the tools to make my lessons enjoyable. I have devised a new curriculum in my school and created integrated learning assessments which has benefited the students immensely.
