Nicole Serfontein

With experience spanning in-patient and community healthcare, I provided comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to people experiencing acute and chronic mental health conditions within a multidisciplinary team environment. Key responsibilities include conducting mental health assessments and risk evaluations, developing and implementing individualised care plans in collaboration with patients and their whanau.

Working under the delegation of registered nurses, my key responsibilities were to monitor patients’ behaviour and report any concerns. I also assisted patients with their activities of daily living and helped implement treatment plans under supervision. This role developed my communication and interpersonal skills.

I facilitated sales campaigns by conducting online research to identify suitable prospects and products, initiating contact with prospects, and assigning sales representatives for follow-up. This position honed my interpersonal skills.
