  • Completed apprenticeship gaining experience in domestic, commercial, industrial, and solar environments.
  • Solar projects since qualifying include co-designing, leading the install, and commissioning of arrays ranging from 12-439 panels in domestic and commercial buildings.
  • Have extensive experience installing, maintaining, and fault finding battery back-up and solar systems - inverters, batteries, and panels. Worked with brands such as Tesla, Solaredge, GoodWe, Sungrow, Fronius, and BYD.
  • Domestic experience excluding solar includes running renovations and medium-end new builds. Spent year 3-4 of my apprenticeship working on high-end projects on Waiheke - running some aspects of the jobs. Have regularly installed and conducted maintenance on EV chargers with brands such as EVNEX.
  • Run various commercial back-to-base (LED and switchgear) and switchboard upgrades, as well as worked on floor fit outs for buildings in town. Commercial new builds I've worked on from start to finish include clubrooms and school blocks.
  • Have industrial experience working for various factories manufacturing things from food to furniture - companies such as Hubbards, Fresh to Go, APD, and Bourneville Furniture. Mostly done fault-finding and repairs for these places. Maintenance work includes testing and tagging, test/tagging repairs, IQP testing, switchboard/control panel upgrades, motor replacements etc.
  • Since qualifying would be regularly rotated onto and on-call roster. Call-outs would range across domestic, commercial, industrial and solar. On-call work depending on the situation would involve fault finding and repairs, 'making safe' of equipment, bypassing of battery back-up systems etc.

Hobbies

Live a very active and outdoorsy lifestyle. 

  • I'm passionate about many sports and represent Western Springs in New Zealand's top tier for football.
  • Whenever the weather suits I like to take my boat out, go fishing, and just spend time on the water.
  • Own a ute and a rooftop tent which I utilise wherever possible.
  • Am very social and love to spend time with mates whether it be chill or going to a gig/night out etc.
