Hey, I'm Noah Hohua. I go to St Patricks College Silverstream where I play for the First XV rugby, which I've been doing since year 9, along with playing Senior A basketball which I started in year 11. I do charity events, including soup kitchens, translator, volunteer church work, and a part time tutor to little students. I'm currently doing NCEA Level 2, along with Level 3 Calculus. I passed year 11 With an excellence endorsement overall, gaining 96 excellence credits in both Level one and Two. This year I aim for my overall credits to be at over 175. I'm currently fluent in English, Korean, Spanish, Māori and German, where I learn to speak Mandarin, French and Greek over the next 5-7 years. I regularly attend the gym, with my max bench being 215 lbs. I also have a passion for acting, as that's my main goal before I'm 20, get into a short film, movie or series with any role. I'm now 15, and my goals for this year are to be a better person overall.
Translator Focused Paragraph:
I speak fluently in English, Korean, Spanish, Māori and German, along with learning French, Mandarin and Greek. A lot of the times I see people at airports needing help. I decide to willingly help translate for them without getting paid. I want to place my mark on this world after my short time on this world ends. I don't want people to remember me as a good person, I want to be remembered as doing what I love to do, and this is a step to doing so.
I am actively involved in a range of charity and community service activities. I regularly help at soup kitchens, where I assist in preparing and serving meals to those in need. I also work as a translator, helping people communicate more easily and access the support they require. In addition, I volunteer through my church, contributing my time to support community programs and events. Alongside this, I work part-time as a tutor for younger students, helping them with their learning and supporting their academic growth.

I really enjoy all aspects of performing arts. I love impromptu speaking, as it challenges me to think quickly and express my ideas clearly on the spot. Acting is another passion of mine because I enjoy stepping into different characters and bringing stories to life. I also have a strong love for singing, which allows me to express emotions and connect with an audience. Additionally, public speaking and debating are activities I thrive in, as they let me confidently communicate my thoughts, persuade others, and engage in meaningful discussions. Overall, performing arts gives me a way to explore creativity, build confidence, and connect with people through expression.
