Noah O’Malley

Currently participating in a research project through the university of Canterbury and the Hurunui district council.

The project focus is on regenerative practices to allow coastlines to grow, preventing erosion for recreational and geographical use.

• Have founded and run a clothing company with my business partner for the past year. My role in the company is part owner, and Designer for all pieces we release.

Over summer, I personally set up/ started a small sole trader business selling roadside produce to locals and visitors within my area.

The Business ran as a personal summer job to ensure experience within a business/ social communications and sales background.

• Holiday role helping out packaging team at Sawmill Brewery - working in tram environment making sure the beer gets packed fresh daily in timely manner. Involved in all areas of packaging and production set up and cleanup.

Worked a part time job with Matakana Palms over university break.

• Demonstrated continual positive effort to maintain working relationships with staff, volunteers and management.
• Enhanced plant health by implementing proper pruning, watering, and fertilization techniques.

• Part of landscape team at Takana nurser. Jobs included watering plants, weeding, making new plant areas and potting new plants.

• Part time job being Front of house for busy brewery restaurant and bar. Role included serving customers, ensuring customer satisfaction, liaising with kitchen, cleaning up at end of restaurant shift.
