Other activities I have done

  • I spent much of my childhood and early teen years (ages 6 to 15) involved with St John Youth, which provided me with invaluable experiences and skills. During my time with St John, I participated in numerous competitions and reached the regional level, often securing first place. This experience honed my teamwork, leadership, and discipline. While I am not officially certified in first aid, my extensive training has equipped me with practical skills and knowledge that would enable me to respond effectively in emergency situations. These formative years instilled in me a sense of responsibility and prepared me to handle pressure calmly and efficiently.
  • From the age of 13 to 16, I also dedicated time to helping out with a youth group, where I took on the role of a mentor and guide for younger children. This involved leading activities, fostering a positive and inclusive environment, and providing support to kids who looked up to me for guidance. Through this experience, I developed strong interpersonal skills, learned how to manage groups of varying ages, and gained insight into how to encourage and inspire confidence in others. This role not only allowed me to grow as a leader but also reinforced my commitment to supporting and nurturing the development of young people.

Hobbies

  • In my free time, I am deeply engaged in a mix of active and creative hobbies. I play rugby, which not only keeps me physically fit but also fuels my competitive spirit and teamwork skills. Cycling is another passion, offering both a sense of freedom and a way to challenge myself with long rides and bikepacking adventures. On the creative side, I enjoy working with my hands through wood and metal crafts. Crafting projects let me explore my inventive side, building useful and unique items while honing my attention to detail and practical skills. These hobbies balance physical exertion with creativity and precision, making my time both active and fulfilling.
