Summary
I have spent the past 3 years working seasonally in the mountains of North Carolina at Camp Pinnacle, initially as a counselor until hired as their head of mountain biking. In this role I learnt so many valuable skills such as how to connect with a wide variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds, leadership skills and how to create a healthy and positive work environment for the instructors and curating substantive lessons and trips for campers. This was a fast paced workplace which demanded long hours but I always kept a positive attitude and showed the utmost kindness to my peers. I am now enrolled in university to study environmental science because I am passionate about the earth and getting outdoors. Between seasons, I have returned home to work the shoulder at Rack’n’Stack as an installer. I enjoy the hands-on work and working together with the team there.
