Peter Alexander Supervisor:

I learned to be highly intuitive and to constantly strive while working in a fast paced retail store so I can swiftly prioritise and communicate to customers who need assistance.

  • Assisted and solo managed training new employees regarding customer service skills, upselling, successfully assisting customers, and finishing tasks in a timely matter.
  • Always had a strong ethic of exceeding customer satisfaction.
  • Supervised and solo managed daily operations on the shop floor, which included preparing zoning chart and ensuring the rotations, opening and closing the store, which consisted of cashing up the till, managing stock loss and prevention in the store, resolving customers queries and issues, restocking the shop floor and assisting in floor moves.
  • Ensured health and safety procedures were always met, for example, ladder safety and how to safely navigate the ladder around a compact small store.
  • Trained to oversee difficult situations and what were the best options to resolve them.
  • Strived to build strong connections with each customer
  • Offered guidance for the staff who required further training on customer service strategies and techniques.
  • Regularly checked the stores KPI'S so I could manage the store budget and target figures of the day; this included calculating what each staff member should make per hour in order to complete our final target figure.
  • Calculated sale reports to create target figures and had a "product of the day" to ensure the store's turnover could constantly improve.
  • Ensured there were consistent sales from me and my team members, specifically at the "front line" to provide a better shopping experience for customers
  • Boosted customer satisfaction with proactive and strategic approaches to successfully meet customers requirements.
  • Constantly reviewed the store's work environment and found resolutions to concerns or issues among the staff.
