Summary
I would like the opportunity to be part of creating an amazing experience not only for guests but for other team members at Sunshine Village as a snowboard instructor. I am currently enrolled in the Level 1 and 2 Snowboard Instructor Certification course through Cardrona ITC, with completion in September 2025.
In my previous role as an art teacher, I worked primarily with younger children, focusing on creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. Clear communication was key, and I worked to ensure each student had a great experience while growing their passion and confidence in developing new skills, an approach I'm eager to bring to the snow.
I'm especially enthusiastic about working with beginner riders, helping them build a strong foundation while making sure their first experience on the snow is safe, encouraging, and a lot of fun. This passion stems from snowboarding and skiing being a loved family tradition since my early childhood, giving me both deep appreciation for the sport and genuine enthusiasm for sharing it with others.
