• Throughout my placement on Ward B8, I was significantly advanced my nursing skills across several key areas. This experience offered valuable insight into the management of neurological conditions, along with exposure to pre- and post-operative care, wound care, comprehenisve patient assessment, and accurate documentation. It also emphasised the integral role of collaboration and support in the delivery and coordination of care. Additionally, I was able to strengthen my interpersonal skills through meaningful interactions with patients, their families, and members of the multi-disiplinary team.
• Southern Endoscopy Centre. 17/02/2025 - 21/03/2025 (Community Health)
• My placement at Southern Endoscopy provided me with valuble opportunities to work across multiple different surgical clinical areas including pre-administration, theatre rooms, and PACU/recovery care. This allowed me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the patient journey throughout the perioperative environment and enabled me to build practical skills across each stage of care.
• Christchurch Hospital, Ward 14 - Medical/Renal. 08/07/2024 - 14/08/2024 (Medical/Surgical)
• My placement on Ward 14 was highly rewarding as it introduced me to the clinical aspects of nursing within a hospital environment. Throughout I was exposed to a diverse range of clinical experiences which allowed me to develop essential skills and foundational knowledge. It provided valuable insight into the processes of patient admission and discharge, medication administration, and the coordination of holistic care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Hillmorton Hospital - North Adult Community Service. 19/02/2024 - 24/03/2024 (Mental Health)
• My placement at Hillmorton Hospital was highly beneficial as it introduced me to an entirely new aspect of healthcare. Throughout this placement I was able to significantly improve my communication skills and strategies with patients as well as colleagues. This allowed me to enhance my ability to connect and provide support to patients with various backgrounds.

• My placement at Promisa Aldwins House allowed me to develop my caregiving and foundational nursing skills. It provided me with an oppuurtunity to deliver basic patient care and interaction with patients for the first time in my nursing career.
