• Conduct comprehensive asset integrity inspections for bulk fuel storage terminals and chemical plants, including on-stream and off-stream tank inspections, piping systems, transfer lines (wharf and bunker lines), and ancillary equipment such as process vessels, fire protection systems, fuel dispensers, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, international standards and jurisdictional regulations.
• Perform detailed calculations for corrosion rates, remaining asset life, and inspection intervals, as well as develop inspection plans and manage inspection deferrals based on risk assessments.
• Execute on-site audits of stationary container systems to verify compliance with the Hazardous Substances Regulations 2017 as a certified compliance for WorkSafe.
• Plan and execute non-destructive testing (NDT) and inspection tasks, interpret data, and prepare comprehensive reports for engineering departments.

Coordinates inspection activities and conducts structural integrity assessments of aboveground storage tanks, pressure vessels, and various static equipment (such as drums, separators, and towers) in tank farms, refining units, and gas plants (LPG, LNG, GNV). Responsibilities include monitoring corrosion control systems, performing ultrasonic thickness measurements, inspecting pressure relief devices and safety valves, conducting corrosion mapping, and evaluating tank bottoms using MFL and LFET scanners. Additionally, recommends and supervises repair procedures, among other inspection tasks.

Conduct on-stream tank inspections in accordance with API-653 standards at Oiltanking Perú's storage tank terminals. Key activities include:

• Performing external visual inspections and evaluating roof plates.
• Conducting internal visual inspections and shell thickness measurements using wall crawlers.
• Mapping corrosion on bottom plates utilizing the Magnetic Field Leakage (MFL) technique.
• Conducting leak tests on bottom lap welds and visually inspecting perimeter seals and the tightness of roof compartments (pontoons) for both internal and external floating roofs.
• Overseeing lap patch-plate repairs of bottom plates.

Inspections are carried out at the following terminals:

• Oiltanking Terminal – Mollendo
• Oiltanking Terminal – Cuzco
• Oiltanking Terminal – Callao
• Oiltanking Terminal – Juliaca

• Client Representative for the Turnkey Project of the Talara Refinery Modernization.

Conduct on-stream inspections of static equipment, including tanks, pressure vessels, and process pipes, for the storage, transportation, and processing of liquid hydrocarbons and gases in refineries, tank terminals, and chemical plants. This is performed in accordance with international codes (API-653, API-510, ASME, UL, TEMA) and Peruvian National Regulations.

Key activities include issuing Certificates of Compliance (C.O.C.), preparing Technical Reports for Integrity Assessment and Corrosion of various static equipment (such as storage tanks, pressure vessels, boilers, heat exchangers, desalters, and oil separators), and executing Non-Destructive Testing (VT, PT, MT, RT, UTT, Leak Test, Hydrostatic Tests).

I also develop Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), manuals and procedures for NDT, and prepare Quality Dossiers while supervising projects and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Acted as the Welding Inspector (client representative) during the manufacturing of various electromechanical components, including roller blades, structures, pressure vessels, tanks, and power pipes for ten Kaplan hydroelectric turbines for the Tocoma Hydroelectric Power Plant, as well as the repowering of six Francis-type turbines at the Macagua I Hydroelectric Power Plant.

Key activities included conducting integrity evaluations of pressure vessels (specifically air-oil tanks for the turbine governance system) at IMPSA in Mendoza, Argentina.

Served as the client representative during the field erection of two cryogenic LNG tanks, each with a nominal capacity of 159,000 m³, in accordance with API Code 620 Appendix Q. Additionally, oversaw the installation of two refrigerated LPG tanks (with capacities of 59,000 m³ and 88,000 m³, respectively) following API Code 620 Appendix R, as well as one floating roof tank (DDFRT) with a capacity of 680,000 US barrels, compliant with API Code 650.

Responsible for executing the welding program, performing dimensional control, and conducting NDT inspections according to approved Inspection Test Plans (ITP). This role involves documenting all non-destructive examination (NDE) and inspection activities related to the fabrication, construction, and field erection of various large static equipment, including tanks, piping, and vessels.

Key activities include inspecting materials such as structural components (beams, angles), plates, valves, piping, gaskets, fittings, and lifting equipment to ensure conformity with purchase orders and international specifications.

Accountable for quality control activities to meet required standards, project specifications, technical data sheets, and specific purchase order requirements. This includes granting final acceptance for completed jobs or supplied components and materials.
